ADHD affects roughly 11% of American children and 6% of adults, and untreated it can shorten life by seven to nine years. Yet stimulant medications have been in short supply since 2022, with no guidance for who should get them first. This paper argues that ad hoc distribution is both inefficient and unjust, and proposes an ethical foundation for doing better.
